Breakfast at Penguins

Location: Africa Rocks

Date: Saturday, October 21

Visit the Zoo before it opens to enjoy a buffet breakfast while you watch our African penguins waddle, swim, and play! You'll enjoy an exclusive view of our new Penguin Beach, along with a special keeper talk, and an animal presentation with an African animal. 

Guests will meet at the Zoo front gate at 7:45 a.m., then walk to Conrad Prebys Africa Rocks' Cape Fynbos.  Please allow extra time to walk from the Zoo's entrance to Africa Rocks. 

Cost is $49, plus tax. Nonmembers add Zoo admission.

Albert's Late Harvest Winemaker Dinner

Location: Albert's Restaurant

Date: Saturday, November 4, 2017

Enjoy a delicious four-course gourmet meal designed to accompany the exceptional wines of Duckhorn Vineyards. 

A reception with animal ambassadors in the Treetops Banquet Room begins at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at Albert's at 7 p.m.  

Maximum party size is eight people; guests will be seated at tables of eight. Menu substitutions are not available for this event. All guests must present an event ticket to gain entrance into the San Diego Zoo.

Cost is $92, plus tax and gratuity. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

Treetops Thanksgiving Buffet

At the Zoo’s Treetops Banquet Room, a lavish buffet offers Thanksgiving favorites along with traditional side dishes, salads, artisan breads, and a dessert bar. Continuous seating from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost is $47.95 for adults; $18.95 for children ages 3 to 11, plus tax and gratuity. Admission is required for nonmembers.

Albert's Thanksgiving Dinner

Join us at Albert's Restaurant and enjoy a three-course Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings. The menu boasts free-range turkey, braised prime beef short rib, and vegetarian options, with traditional side dishes, salads, and decadent desserts. Continuous seating is available from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Cost is $40.95 for adults; $14.95 for children ages 3 to 11, plus tax and gratuity. Admission is required for all nonmembers.
