Join us for Summer Camp at the San Diego Zoo! In weeklong, full-day camps (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.), campers enjoy wildlife experiences, exclusive habitat visits, talks with wildlife care specialists and other Zoo team members, art projects, hands-on learning activities, crafts, and games.
Participants will receive a Summer Camp T-shirt. Campers will need to bring their own lunch, snack, and sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes for long walks (no flip-flops), clothes that can get dirty, and a hat.

Did you know that some wildlife species have tongues that grasp, noses with amazing suction power, and tiny horns? Explore the world of adaptations—what they are, and how they help animals survive in their native habitats!

Learn what it takes to be a globe-trotting wildlife biologist, traveling from North America’s Southwest to the African savanna. From tracking the movement of animals to understanding and observing behavior, you’ll discover the valuable roles that wildlife play within their ecosystems!
