San Diego Zoo Elite Adventure Program Advisements
The San Diego Zoo is located at 2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.
Check-in: 10 minutes prior to departure at the VIP & Elite Adventure Tour Meeting Location.
Minimum Age:
All ages are welcome.
A maximum of 2 children per adult. Children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by a paid adult. All tour participants require a ticket, regardless of age.
A separate admission ticket or membership is required for Zoo entry.
Activity/Walking Level: Moderate
If anyone in your party requires the use of a wheelchair during the tour and is unable to transfer, after booking please call 619-718-3000 so we can request a wheelchair accessible cart.
Change/Cancellation:
Reservations may be changed up to 3 days before the program with no change fee. Less than 3 days, changes not permitted.
Cancellations received 3 days before the scheduled program are subject to a $100 Cancellation Fee. Less than 3 days, payment is non-refundable.
Walking is required. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. Pathways are paved and the route is wheelchair accessible.
Elite Adventure is an all-weather event. The San Diego Zoo reserves the right to cancel or reroute a tour due to inclement weather, animal health, and/or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule you on another experience.
For the safety of our animals and the comfort of our guests, outside food and beverages, selfie sticks, and tripods (except tripods used as monopods) are not permitted in wildlife habitats. Drinking water in closed-lid containers is recommended.
Strollers and child car seats are not permitted on the cart. For the health and safety of wildlife, service animals may be restricted on this tour due to the sensitive nature of these animals and the restricted access of these habitats and buildings.
