Cheers to a "beary" good time and an evening on the wild side. For guests 21 and up, this experience pairs beer or wine with a guided journey through the Zoo, featuring remarkable bear species and insights into wildlife care and conservation.

Sip and stroll through the Zoo with a knowledgeable guide as you discover sloth bears, sun bears, and more while hearing interesting facts and stories along the way. Your night leads up to an exclusive, after-hours visit to Denny Sanford Panda Ridge, where you’ll uncover the fascinating science and stories behind the beloved giant panda. 

Happy hour is always more adventurous on the Bear Crawl. This tour includes two alcoholic beverages, with your choice of wine or beer. 

Start your morning with a guided walk through the treetops and into the forest where you’ll enjoy early access to the Denny Sanford Panda Ridge habitat before it opens to the public. On this 60-minute experience, you’ll have extended, peaceful viewing opportunities of the giant pandas and other wildlife, free from the usual crowds.

Your Educator will share fascinating stories about the Zoo’s long-standing connection to giant pandas. You’ll gain deeper insights into the behavior of this iconic species, daily care, and collaborative efforts between the San Diego Zoo our partners that protect them and their native forest habitat. 

Animals in Action is an immersive experience designed for guests ages 5 and over who want to connect more deeply with some of the most engaging wildlife at the San Diego Zoo. This interactive adventure offers a unique opportunity to meet and learn from the dedicated Wildlife Behavior Specialists who care for incredible wildlife every day. Feel the excitement as you observe, ask questions, and hear about the conservation efforts we are making around the world. This memorable experience sparks curiosity and deepens your appreciation for wildlife.

The Inside Look Tour is a 90-minute experience that offers a deeper understanding of wildlife care at the San Diego Zoo and our efforts to protect species worldwide. A knowledgeable Zoo Educator will lead your group to specially selected areas throughout the Zoo. Along the way, you’ll step off the cart to visit two wildlife habitats up close, including spaces not typically accessible to the public.

Enjoy a wildly themed 2-hour experience that goes beyond simple viewing. Engage with captivating stories and meaningful moments that take you deeper into the Zoo’s mission. Led by a knowledgeable Zoo Educator, you’ll travel in a deluxe cart to explore multiple wildlife habitats, step off for a closer look, and discover how the Zoo cares for species and protects their wild counterparts.
