Join us for Summer Camp at the San Diego Zoo! In week-long, full-day camps—from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.—campers will discover cool animal facts, enjoy crafts and games, and connect with wildlife. Led by experienced educators, campers will learn about wildlife conservation and how they can be wildlife heroes.
Choose from two different First Grade-level Classic Camp programs:
Furry Friends
Campers learn about our furry, fuzzy, and fluffy friends… Where they live, how they move, what they eat, and what makes them so special! Dates: June 21–25, July 5–9, July 19–23, August 2–6, or August 16–20.
Mad About Mammals
Some have armor and some have quills. Some have fur and some even have bills! Campers are sure to fall madly in love with all different types of mammals! Dates: June 28–July 2, July 12–16, July 26–30, or August 9–13.
The health and safety of our campers and staff is our highest priority. The San Diego Zoo will be adhering to San Diego County, State of California Social Services Department, Department of Public Health, and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for summer camps and child care facilities. Please be advised we have made modifications to our existing camp program to be in alignment with these guidelines.
