This stream is shared during San Diego’s daylight hours. Once it gets dark, we rebroadcast that day’s stream.

The San Diego Zoo had the honor of welcoming Labu, a young adult male, to the existing Sumatran orangutan troop in March 2025. He and the others are getting to know each other with natural behaviors, just as they would in native habitats. As Labu is a maturing male, it is expected he will show increasing interest in the adult female orangutans, and may interact with them more frequently and in more physical ways than he will with the younger orangutans.
