Youth Groups

Youth groups, such as Scout troops, Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, and extracurricular programs only should fill out the form below to request their field trip dates to the San Diego Zoo.

To be eligible for field trip rates for Youth Groups, groups must be able to abide by our Program Policies.

Estimated Number of Adult Participants and Chaperones, ages 18+

Minimum group size of 15 required to qualify for special rates
Maximum group size is 150 participants (students + adults) per group, per reservation, is allowed
- Your group must enter the Zoo together
- If your group is larger than 150 people, additional guests will pay full price admission.

Kids Free October*, Estimated Number of Kids (Ages 3-11):

*During the month of October, kids are free for ages 3 to 11 when accompanied by an Adult/Chaperone.

Additional Information

Lunch storage is available at the Zoo in Wildlife Explorer Basecamp. Directions and passcodes will be located in the confirmation email you will receive 2 weeks prior to your visit. Passcodes should not be shared with anyone outside of your group. No coolers/food storage containers larger than a 6-pack size are permitted on grounds.
