Join us for Art Camp at the San Diego Zoo! Little Artists is a full-day camp—from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.—designed for those who are interested in both art and wildlife. Each day, campers will discover cool animal facts, enjoy daily crafts and games, and create a daily art project. Led by experienced educators, campers will learn about wildlife in wild colors and how they can be wildlife heroes. All art supplies are provided.
Choose from two different Little Artists camp programs:
Colorful Critters
Color can contrast, complement, or just be outrageously wild. Campers will learn about all things color as it relates to wildlife and will be sure to bring home an array of colorful artwork! Dates: June 21–25, July 5–9, July 19–23, August 2–6, or August 16–20.
Wild Side of Design
Campers explore nature’s wild side of design. From stripes to polka dots, monotones, duotones, and iridescence too, campers will tap into their own creative wild side! Dates: June 28–July 2, July 12–16, July 26–30, or August 9–13.
The health and safety of our campers and staff is our highest priority. The San Diego Zoo will be adhering to San Diego County, State of California Social Services Department, Department of Public Health, and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for summer camps and child care facilities. Please be advised we have made modifications to our existing camp program to be in alignment with these guidelines.
