Join us for Summer Camp at the San Diego Zoo! In week-long, full-day camps—from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.—campers will discover cool animal facts, enjoy crafts and games, and connect with wildlife. Led by experienced educators, campers will learn about wildlife conservation and how they can be wildlife heroes.
Choose from two different Second Grade-level Classic Camp programs:
Hangin’ with the Critters
Campers will notice that some forest animals are pretty clingy. Special toes and tails help arboreal critters stay “hooked” on trees!
Dates: June 21–25, July 5–9, July 19–23, August 2–6, or August 16–20.
Groovin’ with the Ground Dwellers
Campers will discover birds that would rather not fly, monkeys that aren’t in the swing of things, and other animals who prefer to stay close to the ground. Dates: June 28–July 2, July 12–16, July 26–30, or August 9–13.
The health and safety of our campers and staff is our highest priority. The San Diego Zoo will be adhering to San Diego County, State of California Social Services Department, Department of Public Health, and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for summer camps and child care facilities. Please be advised we have made modifications to our existing camp program to be in alignment with these guidelines.
