Join us for Summer Camp at the San Diego Zoo! In week-long, full-day camps—from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.—campers will discover cool animal facts, enjoy crafts and games, and connect with wildlife. Led by experienced educators, campers will learn about wildlife conservation and how they can be wildlife heroes.
Choose from two different Third Grade-level Classic Camp programs:
Nature’s Secret Superheroes
Unique and overlooked creatures have some of the most strange and wonderful ways to save the day. Campers learn about the secret superheroes in nature! Dates: June 21–25, July 5–9, July 19–23, August 2–6, or August 16–20.
Animal Outlaws
After hanging out with animal rebels, campers are sure to find a soft spot in their hearts for misunderstood creatures. Sometimes the lesser known, and less popular animals turn out to be the coolest! Dates: June 28–July 2, July 12–16, July 26–30, or August 9–13.
The health and safety of our campers and staff is our highest priority. The San Diego Zoo will be adhering to San Diego County, State of California Social Services Department, Department of Public Health, and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for summer camps and child care facilities. Please be advised we have made modifications to our existing camp program to be in alignment with these guidelines.
