Join us for Summer Camp at the San Diego Zoo! In week-long, full-day camps—from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.—campers will discover cool animal facts, enjoy crafts and games, and connect with wildlife. Led by experienced educators, campers will learn about wildlife conservation and how they can be wildlife heroes.
Choose from two different Fourth and Fifth Grade-level Classic Camp programs:
Creature Features
Tongues that grasp, noses with amazing suction power, and insects with horns will be explored in this fun camp dedicated to a closer look at adaptations. Dates: June 21–25, July 5–9, July 19–23, August 2–6, or August 16–20.
Where the Wild Things Live
Burrows, dens, nests, and dreys … Believe it or not, all are places animals create and construct to call “home!” Get ready to explore the world of animal homes and habitats. Dates: June 28–July 2, July 12–16, July 26–30, or August 9–13.
The health and safety of our campers and staff is our highest priority. The San Diego Zoo will be adhering to San Diego County, State of California Social Services Department, Department of Public Health, and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for summer camps and child care facilities. Please be advised we have made modifications to our existing camp program to be in alignment with these guidelines.
