Join us for Summer Camp at the San Diego Zoo! In week-long, full-day camps—from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.—campers will discover cool animal facts, enjoy crafts and games, and connect with wildlife. Led by experienced educators, campers will learn about wildlife conservation and how they can be wildlife heroes.
Choose from two different Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Grade-level Classic Camp programs:
Animals Ain’t Misbehavin’
Don’t judge! Some animal behaviors can seem offensive, but they are actually connected to survival. Take a closer look at why animals do what they do. Dates: June 21–25, July 5–9, July 19–23, August 2–6, or August 16 – August 20.
Animal Groups and Troops
Discover the world of animal groups and relationships. From animal classifications to unique animal partnerships, by the end of the week, campers are sure to be wildlife’s biggest fan! Dates: June 28–July 2, July 12–16, July 26–30, or August 9–13.
The health and safety of our campers and staff is our highest priority. The San Diego Zoo will be adhering to San Diego County, State of California Social Services Department, Department of Public Health, and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for summer camps and child care facilities. Please be advised we have made modifications to our existing camp program to be in alignment with these guidelines.
