Zoo Inside Look Tour Program Advisements
The San Diego Zoo is located at 2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.
Check-in:
Crazy About Cats: 8:20 a.m. at the lion statue in front of the Zoo's main entrance
Underwater Wonders: 8:20 a.m. at the flagpole in front of the Zoo's main entrance
ALL other Inside Look Tours: Check-in 10 minutes prior to tour departure. After entering through the main entrance turnstiles, immediately turn left and meet your guide at the podium near the Joan Embery Front Street Stage.
Minimum Age:
Crazy About Cats: Ages 5 and up
Paws & Claws: All ages welcome
Underwater Wonders: All ages welcome
World Famous Wildlife: All ages welcome
Wild Africa: All ages welcome
ALL Inside Look Tours
Maximum 2 children per adult. All tour participants require a ticket, regardless of age. Ages 15 and younger must be accompanied by a paid adult.
A separate admission ticket or membership is required for Zoo entry.
Wear comfortable shoes. Some tours require walking to visit exclusive areas.
Change/Cancellation:
Reservations may be changed up to 3 days before the program with no change fee. Less than 3 days, changes not permitted.
Cancellations received 3 days before the scheduled program are subject to a $25 Cancellation Fee. Less than 3 days, payment is non-refundable.
The San Diego Zoo reserves the right to cancel or reroute a tour due to inclement weather, animal health, and/or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule you for another Inside Look tour.
For the safety of our animals and the comfort of our guests, outside food and beverages, selfie sticks, and tripods (except tripods used as monopods) are not permitted in wildlife habitats. Drinking water in closed-lid containers is recommended.
Strollers and child car seats are not permitted on the cart.
For the health and safety of wildlife, service animals are not permitted in some areas due to the sensitive nature of these animals and the restricted access of these habitats and buildings.
